Visual artist since 2005, Alex Le Guillou began his visual journey collaborating with various agencies and creative studios before gradually embarking on the development of a personal and unique artistic universe where art, science, and technology meet and interact. Driven by a deep passion for visual exploration in all its forms, he designs and produces digital audiovisual works and immersive experiences that have been presented and exhibited in various venues around the world.
Inspired by the observation of nature, the study of scientific phenomena, and the analysis of contemporary technological systems, his artistic work questions our perception of the world around us and the mechanisms through which we apprehend reality. He offers a vision of the macrocosm that is both poetic and contemplative, observed and interpreted through the prism of machines and digital tools. His visual creations constantly oscillate between pure abstraction and evocative figuration, subtly blending the mathematical rigor of algorithms with organic aesthetics inspired by living things. In his work, the image is no longer a static representation but becomes a living, dynamic material, evolving within a universe in perpetual motion and transformation.
The notion of time, in its multiple dimensions and manifestations, occupies a central and structuring place in his artistic approach. His visual environments invite the viewer to a form of meditative contemplation and an immersive sensory experience, where temporal perception is altered and reinvented.
Using primarily real-time rendering technologies that allow for great responsiveness and flexibility in the creative process, he favors spontaneity and constant experimentation as essential drivers of his artistic creation. This direct and immediate relationship between the initial creative intention and the visual result obtained allows him to create works in which the traditional boundary between the creative artist and the observing viewer becomes fluid, porous, and deeply interactive, thus opening up new spaces for dialogue and exchange.
